Come Out Research (1)

One thing I fear to death is to come out, especially towards my family.

Confrontation is really important for my relationship and this is the thing that matter to me most. I would really hope my life partner being properly recognized by my family and also my friend. Therefore, year 2009, I decided to do a series of research and preparation for coming out.

Research 1:

Met netfriend S* in real life. As I expected, she is kind hearted and traditional. Decision to meet her is simply easy and straightforward--> she is Christian and she already come out. Ok I admit, she is kind and she is Christian, I like to meet her and talk. *well, some issues can only talk to people with same background.To my surprise, people nowadays juz can't believe a simple friendship?

Through S*, I found out some interesting point about lesbian living a Christian life in Malaysia and also her come out story. 

Her come out story sound more of an accident and not done on purpose. 

* Glad to hear that Lesbian that is Christian helping each other in this PLU circle.

Conclusion for Research 1:

I am a Christian myself, knowing how other Christian family react towards come out issue is critical. Issues such as how, when, where to come out need to be addressed. Research 1 is merely step 1 and it will lead to another research until Im fully prepare to confront my family.
